Beautiful pendants are cabochon cut Petoskey Stoneset in sterling silver by Kevin Gauthier of Traverse City. Kevin has been collecting, polishing, cutting and making gorgeous jewelry out of Michigan stones since he was a boy. The natural oval shaped stones ramge in size from 3/4" to almost " in maximum dimensions. The stone is set in a silver band, (a cabochon setting). Petoskey stones were a living coral colony millions of years ago, when Michigan was deep under a salt water sea, now a beautifully patterned fossil stone, treasure we hunt on the beach.
