Kathy Kreager makes fun fish sculpture out of found and forged metal and colored glass. She works in her studio in South Haven, Michigan. Sometimes recognizeable are car parts, industrial forms and shapes that she translates with imagination (and skill) into fish. The body is rendered in translucent, beautiful blue-green colored glass. This one's eye is a swirl of metal. Metal has a wonderfully speckled paint finish with subtle coloration. A whimsical, and wonderfully decorative, and quite a friendly fish. Sizes range from 18-19" long and 12-13" high.
