We were delighted when an artist friend of Sandra's brought in one of her lovely trees to show us. We think they are such a happy reminder of an upnorth Michigan favorite, driftwood from the beach. Artist Sandra Michalik's business is named Branch Works North. She is based in Cadillac, from there she forages, finding weathered wood from the sunny lakeshores,left to dry and smooth in the elements.
Trees can be made in sizes from 5-6" up to 4 feet tall! They are all very stable on a weighty log base. The large trees can have a large diameter, close to the height measurement so be sure to allow room. We are showing some of the larger sizes separately on the site to better calculate shipping cost.
