The way the natural wood edges give this mirror a shape is so beautiful. The frame is cherry with beautiful pieces of spalted maple with the figured black lines (spalting, a trace of rot). It was made by Pat Reagan of Chassell, Mchigan, part-way up the Keweenaw Peninsula in the upper peninsula. He does wonderful woodwork, from furniture to mirrors with the most beautiful woods, and sometimes stone. The mirror measures 16" tall by 27" wide.
