Leland Blue Stone is a beautiful by-product of the old Leland Ironworks which operated from the late 1880s through about 1918. Its range of color is from purplish indigo to sky blue, turquoise and olive green. Kevin Gauthier of Traverse City, MI makes the most of its natural beauty. He has been collecting, polishing, cutting and making gorgeous jewelry out of Michigan stones since he was a boy. Earrings are 1 1/4” long and hang from sterling silver hooks. They have small stone beads as accents or maybe just a silver bead. Earrings may also be made as a post earring which will be 1/2" shorter. Choose below.
