Baas Bicycles
John Baas is an almost retired dairy farmer from Falmouth, here in northern Michigan.That means he now has time to pursue some creative projects he has been thinking about. While riding the Leelanau Trail with his wife a summer ago, he and his wife discovered not only the fun and beauty of the trail, but when they hopped off their bikes to take a break, they found us at The Painted Bird. So he connected with us in the fall and brought in some of his charming little bicycles. They are beautifully made in copper wire, and available in several models, from slow-going with a basket on the handle bars, to his racing bikes. Check them out here!
