Jan Meyer is the artist behind Kriska Designs.  He makes beautifully hand-painted scarves in silk, and silk/rayon blends in a wonderful array of colors.

The colors are but one aspect of Jan's ingenious swirl scarf design.  The scarf is 100% silk charmeuse, with a wonderful sheen, cut in a circular shape to make a gorgeous soft ruffle when worn.  Best of all, the swirl scarf is so easy to wear.  Just let it fall around your neck in a soft ruffle, or maybe single knot it for a soft, colorful, beautil look!

New in 2015 are Jan's beautiful sik and rayon  scarves in beautiful "burned out" patterns of transparency.  Some look like waves, or animal stripes, or floral motifs... then hand-painted in lovely wearable color combinations.  They are long rectangles, either 8"x70, or  large shawl shapes, 20"x 70". 

Jan is from Sandy, Utah.  And the best part?  He donates a large portion of the proceeds of Kriska Designs to charity, supporting youth projects where he lives.
