Shipping and Returns


SHIPPING POLICY

We take great care in wrapping and shipping each piece from The Painted Bird so it arrives safe and sound—just as we’d want it to if we were on the receiving end.

Processing Time: Most orders ship within 2–3 business days. Some one-of-a-kind pieces may need a bit more time—we’ll keep you posted.

Carriers: We ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx, depending on the size and destination.

Shipping Rates: Calculated at checkout based on weight and distance.

Local Pickup: If you’re nearby, we’d love to see you! Choose “Local Pickup” at checkout, and we’ll let you know when your order is ready.


RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We hope you absolutely love what you receive—but if something’s not quite right, we’ll do our best to make it right.

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for most items.
  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and carefully packaged for return.
  • If something arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, let us know within 7 days so we can arrange an exchange or refund.

Please note: Because of the one-of-a-kind nature of much of our collection, original artwork, custom pieces, and sale items are considered final sale.


LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS

In the rare event that your package is lost or damaged in transit, reach out to us right away—we’ll help sort things out and file a claim if needed.
