Atlantic Salmon Art Tile: Leaf Green glaze

Atlantic Salmon art tile was sculpted by Tonya.

Materials: made in Michigan porcelain and Rick's specially formulated glaze. Using Rick's time tested recipes, they make small batches of glaze. Working small like they do, allows for variations in the glazes, creating one of a kind pieces. All of their tiles are handmade in their Michigan studio.

There is a notch on back for hanging, yet if you wish to install, it's also suitable for that too. If used outdoors in freezing temperatures, just make sure to keep it vertical. This tile measures ~9 x 2.75" with a raised relief of .5” or less.

How’s it made? Sculpt the original design, make plaster mold, press in clay, wait to dry, fire in kiln, glaze, fire again to about 2230 degrees. Cool. Ship to your doorstep. Yay!
