Collection: Rebecca Mott

Rebecca Mott resides just north of Ludington, Michigan and spends much
of the day working in her studio in the trees. She earned a B.A. and M.A.
in studio art from Eastern Illinois University and an M.F.A. from Southern
Methodist University in Dallas, Texas in ceramic sculpture and taught
college art for thirty years.

Working in both clay and printmaking, she creates rich surfaces densee
with textures, shapes and color. Her inspirations, she says, is found
particularly in nature, poetry and mythology.
