Blue Gill Ceramic Wall Fish

Unique' is overused; however, my hand formed clay fish are truly unique. Each fish starts with a simple slab of clay which is cut to the actual shape of the fish it will represent. Once the shape is established, more clay is added to highlight certain areas...eyes, lips, dorsal line, etc. Decorative designs are stamped and carved into the fish, the body and fins are given dimensional shape and movement. After the clay dries, it is bisque fired and then it is meticulously glazed and fired a second time. It is then ready for your customers to enjoy for years to come. Since each fish is individually hand formed, no two are exactly alike in design, size or color. All fish are signed and wired to hang.
