A small bowl in the shape of a bird nest with an impressed, hand painted cardinal in brilliant red in the center. Freehand markings were applied to the clay to imitate the bird nest and a red-brown stain was applied under the transparent top glaze to create a beautiful bowl that resembles a bird nest. It can be used as a fruit bowl, sauce bowl, desert bowl, or for decoration or holding jewelry, etc. Each piece is individually created on the potter’s wheel of white stoneware and the glazes are food safe. Dishwasher safe. Size: approximately 5” round by 1” high. As each piece is individually handmade, slight variations are expected.
